More 1 year updates!

We took Madison for her check up. She is 20 lbs 2 oz. and 29.9 " tall which puts her in the 30% for weight and 75% for height...still tall and skinny. Doc had no concerns about her at all. poor girl had to get 5 shots though. She took them like a champ. She's been taking a few steps here and there but hasn't had the confidence to just let go and walk across the floor, until tonight! I went to kitchen to throw something away and when I looked back she was walking after me! I then managed to capture this...
She is already so much more mature since turning the big O-One. Today in the grocery store there was a Cow balloon she pointed to it.. I said "that's a cow, what does a cow say?" She said "moo" we did that twice and then once again when we got home! She's so much fun!

Madison turned 1!

What a fun birthday party we had for Madison. She never really ate the cake, but she definitely loved the frosting. Thanks to everyone for coming and for all the wonderful presents. We are blessed for such wonderful friends and family. It was so nice having Grandma and Grandpa come visit. Madison loved playing with them and loved all the attention she got from her party. She is such a joy and we are looking forward to more exciting years with her. Enjoy!

Madison got to open a few presents on her birthday from Mom, Dad and Grandma and Grandpa.

Daddy hated Madison's glitter skirt, but loves his baby girl.

Opening presents on her party day. She's in her little party dress. She is so adorable!

Happy Halloween

Madison had her first Halloween. It started with carving a pumpkin... she was a little scared of it at first.

But then she started to get into it.

We were all happy with the end result! Even if the orginal design included 4 teeth (like Madison) and the jack-o-lantern only had three.
This was Begger's Night so Madison dressed in her Halloween outfit from Grandma! She saw the camera she was on the attack.
She moves quick now so by the time the camera was ready for another shot she was ON IT!

She's all dressed for begger's night! Cutest little Mini around.
 Madison and her proud daddy!
Our first stop was to Mamma Kay's for begging. She was so happy to see her!

She was also happy to get her baby bear that she left there on Friday (OK mom forgot it)
After 20 minutes out we came back to enjoy some chocolate

Then she was on a nice little sugar high.

our pumpkin all lit up!

I just think she looks cute in this coat

Finally...Madison is getting very good at taking a few steps. We are working on her confidence walking. She has made a lot of progress and will now walk around hold only one hand.

We also got some pictures taken of Madison some of them appear on the Diana's photo expressions blog. (link is to the right)
